Benedita LumeCooking plantain is the way you tend the small, necessary things to keep your strength. This dream shows the work of making something plain into something that sustains you. It is the way a person tends the fire to turn what is on hand into bread for the table.
The process of this dream is how we feed ourselves day by day. You are tending to the needs of your days with a hand that knows how to work. I, too, find myself sitting at the table and tending to the small, necessary things that keep a house standing. There is a certain weight in the effort of preparation, a sense that the task is not yet finished and requires your presence. You have what is needed to make a good life out of what is given. It is a comfort to know that the meal is being made.
Frying plantain, roasting plantain, or seeing fried plantains shifts the dream toward the sweetness of a completed task. This change occurs because the heat has transformed the plainness of the food into a golden fulfillment, making the reward of your labor much more apparent.
Peeling a plantain or cutting a plantain adds the detail of the beginning of the work. These dreams show the initial stages of effort where the skin must be removed before the substance is reached.
Cooking unripe plantain brings a different tone to the dream, dear, because the hardness of the fruit suggests that you are dealing with a situation that is not yet ready to be swallowed. It indicates a need for more patience before the nourishment can be fully realized.
For its more general meaning: Dream about a plantain
Dreaming of seeing, buying and eating roasted ripe plantains on the road side and seeing nice people and buildings around.

What does it mean
Dear Reader,
Your dream is a symbol for overlooking, urge and help. This dream suggests you overlook your own feelings in order to tend to the needs of others. You are denying your emotional urges and needs. You need to take control of the issue and stop relying on outside help.
