Benedita LumeA movie is a dream where you stand among shadows and illusions, looking at things that are not quite real. This dream suggests you are playing the part of a bystander in a situation that belongs to the world rather than to your own heart. You are witnessing a story unfold from a distance, which keeps you from being truly present in your own life.
The way you see these things can feel like a hollow distraction. It is easy to lose yourself in a tale that is not your own, especially when the world outside is loud. When you find yourself watching a movie, you are often letting your attention drift toward something that has no substance. I watch the windows when the house is still, just to see the trees move. There is a comfort in knowing that what you see is only a passing image.
Watching a movie with family brings the foundation of your support into the view. This dream suggests that the stories you witness are being filtered through the people who hold you up, making the illusion a shared experience.
A movie theater adds the weight of the public eye to the dream. Because this place is a vessel for worldly distractions, the dream points to how much noise and gossip can pull you away from what is true.
A horror movie or a scary movie turns the dream into a source of false fright. This dream shows that the shaking in your heart comes from a fear that has been made up for you, rather than from anything that can actually touch you.
Benedita LumeInterpreter interprets your dreams
Well, dear, the old houses never treated a dream as a stranger at the door. A dream was given a chair at the table like a cousin from far away. Most of what it carries is a warm sign about the life already around you, and even a hard one is usually a reminder about something small at home. Rest easy. The house is still standing.
