Benedita LumeA movie theater shows you how easily the mind wanders into the bright illusions of the world. This dream pulls your gaze away from what is real to the flickering shadows of what might be imagined. It is like watching a play through a window when the garden is waiting for your care.
You find yourself caught in a way that makes it hard to see your own path clearly. The distraction is a thick curtain that hides the plain facts of your own house. I sometimes let the roar of the crowd drown out the small sounds of my own life. Well, you know, the light of the screen is often more tempting than the light of the sun. You possess a strength that allows you to step out of the dark and back into the clarity of the day.
Being in a cinema finds you standing at the edge of other people’s stories. You are looking on at the happenings of strangers instead of looking after your own life.
The dream of being in a movie theater carries a weight of losing your way in things that do not matter. Because the theater is a place for escape, this dream warns that you are drifting into the hollow noise of the world.

Benedita LumeInterpreter interprets your dreams
Well, dear, the old houses never treated a dream as a stranger at the door. A dream was given a chair at the table like a cousin from far away. Most of what it carries is a warm sign about the life already around you, and even a hard one is usually a reminder about something small at home. Rest easy. The house is still standing.
