Benedita LumeWitnessing a plane crash means a sudden fall from a height you have reached in your own spirit. Such a dream shows how the things you have built to reach the clouds can break apart without warning. When the momentum of a great aim is lost so quickly, it leaves a hollow space where that pride used to sit.
The wreckage of what was once so high up lies scattered and broken on the ground. This sight marks a moment where the scale of a loss is felt in its entirety, as nothing remains of the original plan. I have seen a great work crumble into dust like a dry loaf. You find yourself standing amidst the remains of a hope that cannot be mended. The movement has stopped and the earth holds you where you stand.
