Benedita LumeWalking in mud is a sign that life has become thick with troubles that pull at your heels. This kind of trouble clings to the feet and slows the pace of a life, making even the simplest movement require a great deal of will.
The weight of these complications can make the path feel uncertain and thick. You find that the ground does not give way easily, but instead holds onto you, demanding your full attention just to keep moving forward. I have had to walk with a heavy heart when the ground under me felt just as thick. You have the strength to find your footing even when the way is difficult.
Walking barefoot in mud means the difficulty of the dream meets you with nothing to keep it at a distance. Because there is nothing between your skin and the earth, the difficulty touches you directly and leaves you feeling exposed to the struggle.
Stepping in mud or running through it shows how the entanglement of the dream changes your movement. Whether you are trying to move quickly or simply placing one foot before the other, the substance of the trouble dictates your speed and pulls at your energy.

Benedita LumeInterpreter interprets your dreams
Well, dear, the old houses never treated a dream as a stranger at the door. A dream was given a chair at the table like a cousin from far away. Most of what it carries is a warm sign about the life already around you, and even a hard one is usually a reminder about something small at home. Rest easy. The house is still standing.
