Dream about throwing up worms

Throwing up worms is the way you rid yourself of the small, hidden things that have been eating away at your peace. This dream shows a movement of purging that which is small, hidden, and parasitic. Just as a guest who stays too long and begins to spoil the pantry must be removed, these things have occupied a space in your life where they do not belong.

The act of clearing these creatures from your body shows you are facing a rot that has gone unnoticed. You are reclaiming the ground that these lowly things have taken. I once had to wash the bitter taste of a lie from my own mouth, and that clearing is part of this movement. This dream is a way of restoring your inner purity. You are making room for what is clean and true, dear.

Coughing up worms makes the sickness feel close and constant, like a grit in your throat that catches every time you try to draw a full breath.

Spitting out small worms from water shows that even the things you drink to sustain yourself have been touched by this decay.

Vomiting, puking, or simply spitting out worms carries the same weight of a sudden and forceful rejection. Because the body acts with such urgency to expel these things, the dream shows that the time for slow decay has ended.
