Benedita LumeSwimming in a dam shows how you move through the things you have gathered or the edges of an anger you have kept still. This dream shows the way you move through the things you have collected and contained over time. The water rests upon you with a weight that demands you stay present, just as a heavy coat settles on your shoulders when you step out into the cold.
You find yourself crossing a place that is both held in place and deeply unsettled. This passage through what has been stored up can be a tiring labor if the spirit is not ready for the depth. When the movement is difficult, the things you have held inside begin to pull the strength from your limbs. I feel the pull of the current in my own bones when the day grows long. You find your way through these waters with a sure and even stroke, dear. You know the bottom of the pool and you know how to breathe.

Benedita LumeInterpreter interprets your dreams
Well, dear, the old houses never treated a dream as a stranger at the door. A dream was given a chair at the table like a cousin from far away. Most of what it carries is a warm sign about the life already around you, and even a hard one is usually a reminder about something small at home. Rest easy. The house is still standing.
