Benedita LumeSurviving a massacre in a dream is how the spirit shows itself after a great breaking. When things fall apart on such a wide scale, the spirit feels the weight of what has been lost and the sudden emptiness left behind. This dream arrives when the things you leaned on have been broken and scattered.
The presence of such loss carries a heavy shadow. You may feel the ache of what was taken and the stillness that follows a great storm. I have seen how a room feels after the fire has gone out, and that emptiness is a heavy thing to hold. Yet, the fact that you are here, still breathing and whole, is the truth of the matter. You have a strength that stays even when the world looks different. You are already standing on the ground that carries you through.

Benedita LumeInterpreter interprets your dreams
Well, dear, the old houses never treated a dream as a stranger at the door. A dream was given a chair at the table like a cousin from far away. Most of what it carries is a warm sign about the life already around you, and even a hard one is usually a reminder about something small at home. Rest easy. The house is still standing.
