Benedita LumeStabbing in a dream is a sudden breach of your safety. This feeling comes from a sharpness that pierces through the usual layers of a day, much like a needle through heavy cloth, leaving you feeling exposed.
When this dream takes the shape of slashing, it shows a connection being severed abruptly. This kind of movement is too quick for healing, as it tears at the fabric of what you know. I have known the way a sharp word cuts the air and leaves a silence in its wake. The pain of such a tear is real, but you are still standing.
The dream of stabbing someone with a knife shows that the blow is intended. This sense of a purposeful strike means the hurt is not a mishap, but a choice made to wound.
For its more general meaning: Dream about killing
Benedita LumeInterpreter interprets your dreams
Well, dear, the old houses never treated a dream as a stranger at the door. A dream was given a chair at the table like a cousin from far away. Most of what it carries is a warm sign about the life already around you, and even a hard one is usually a reminder about something small at home. Rest easy. The house is still standing.
