Benedita LumePicking an eggplant is a sign of the long, slow work that yields very little to show for it. This kind of dream points to a season where your efforts feel heavy and the harvest is thin. It is the feeling of a day spent mending a fence only to find the wind has already blown it down.
The weight of this dream lies in the way the labor seems to stretch out without a clear end. You may find that your current tasks demand much of your spirit but offer little rest in return. I have known the ache of working a field until the sun went down only to find the basket still empty. You possess the patience to see a hard season through to its end.
