Benedita LumeLearning a new language in a dream is a search for the way to reach across the distance to what is being said in your life. This process is about the way we try to grasp the shape of news or the intent of another, much like trying to find the right way to hold a heavy bowl so it does not slip. When we encounter a way of speaking that we do not yet own, we are standing at the edge of a new kind of knowing.
The struggle to understand a different tongue brings the weight of being unable to reach the heart of a matter. This silence or confusion acts like a fog that settles between people, making it hard to see where one person ends and the other begins. I too have stood before a person and found my own words were not enough to touch them. You possess the patience required to sit with the unknown until the sounds begin to make sense. This is how a new way of seeing finds its place in the house.

Benedita LumeInterpreter interprets your dreams
Well, dear, the old houses never treated a dream as a stranger at the door. A dream was given a chair at the table like a cousin from far away. Most of what it carries is a warm sign about the life already around you, and even a hard one is usually a reminder about something small at home. Rest easy. The house is still standing.
