Benedita LumeKilling a cockroach is the way you deal with a small, nagging thing that has been hiding in your house. This dream shows the movement of removing something that does not belong in a clean and honest life. You are taking a stand against the things that scuttle in the dark and make a home where they are not welcome.
The act of eradication is a way of clearing the floor so you can walk without hesitation. When you move to end a nuisance, you are reclaiming the space that the trouble has occupied. I sweep the corners of my own rooms to make sure the light reaches the floor. There is a settling that happens when the work is done. It is the feeling of a house being made right again.
Stepping on roaches means the trouble is met with a heavy, sudden weight that leaves no room for debate.
Killing cockroaches or roaches shows that the dream is about the victory of a clean conscience over a lingering shame. This action turns a hidden discomfort into a finished matter, because once the nuisance is gone, it can no longer spread its influence.

Benedita LumeInterpreter interprets your dreams
Well, dear, the old houses never treated a dream as a stranger at the door. A dream was given a chair at the table like a cousin from far away. Most of what it carries is a warm sign about the life already around you, and even a hard one is usually a reminder about something small at home. Rest easy. The house is still standing.
