Benedita LumeGetting a dog in a dream means a faithful friend or a watchful enemy is coming to your door. This presence moves through your day like a companion at your heels, staying close as you go about your work.
A dog’s eyes see what you might miss, and this sight keeps you from stumbling. You find that you are not walking through your burdens alone. I feel this same warmth when I sit by my own hearth and know a friend is near. The strength of a loyal heart is yours to hold.
Being gifted or given a dog in a dream suggests that this new loyalty is something that arrives without effort or cost. Because it is a gift, the companionship is an unexpected grace that you did not have to earn.
When you buy a dog in a dream, you are deciding to take this friend into your home. You are choosing to hold this loyalty in your own hands.
A new dog in a dream feels like a morning that has just begun. It is the brightness of a clean floor, showing that a new way of being is starting for you.

Benedita LumeInterpreter interprets your dreams
Well, dear, the old houses never treated a dream as a stranger at the door. A dream was given a chair at the table like a cousin from far away. Most of what it carries is a warm sign about the life already around you, and even a hard one is usually a reminder about something small at home. Rest easy. The house is still standing.
