Benedita LumeFinding an umbrella means you find a roof for your spirit when the sky turns dark. This dream shows that a means of refuge is becoming available to you just as the weather of your life shifts. You possess the capacity to shield your spirit from the sudden downpours of circumstance.
A torn umbrella in the dream reveals how it feels to stand in the rain without cover. When the material is thin or broken, the shelter it offers is not whole, and you may feel that your defenses are failing you. I once stood under a heavy mist with nothing to keep the damp from my bones.
An open umbrella signifies that a way to stay dry and safe is fully ready for your use. This state of being ready provides a sturdy boundary between you and the elements. It is a sign that you are making a space where the wind cannot reach you.
You are already learning how to hold your ground, dear. You have a hardness in you that does not bend.

Benedita LumeInterpreter interprets your dreams
Well, dear, the old houses never treated a dream as a stranger at the door. A dream was given a chair at the table like a cousin from far away. Most of what it carries is a warm sign about the life already around you, and even a hard one is usually a reminder about something small at home. Rest easy. The house is still standing.
