Benedita LumeEating a cockroach is the sign of a bitter thing passing down your throat. This dream shows a moment where you must digest a truth or a situation that offers no sweetness and no comfort.
The act of swallowing what you loathe is a heavy thing, as it forces you to carry the bitter taste within your own body. I have sat at my own table and had to keep a straight face while swallowing words that felt like grit, so I know how this feels. You possess the strength to live through this discomfort. It is a hard thing to endure, but you are already doing the work of moving through it.
Accidentally eating a cockroach suggests that this aversion is not a choice you made, but a sudden intrusion of the unpleasant into your life. The surprise of the event makes the experience feel like an unexpected blow to your dignity.
Eating roaches means the small, nagging grievances are coming at you from every corner. This makes the feeling of being tainted much more pervasive, dear.

Benedita LumeInterpreter interprets your dreams
Well, dear, the old houses never treated a dream as a stranger at the door. A dream was given a chair at the table like a cousin from far away. Most of what it carries is a warm sign about the life already around you, and even a hard one is usually a reminder about something small at home. Rest easy. The house is still standing.
