Benedita LumeCutting meat in a dream shows how you are apportioning the goods of your life. This act of dividing what is available is a way of managing the wealth and the nourishment that sustains you. Well, you know that for anything to be shared, it must first be broken down into portions.
When you are cutting meat in a dream, you are settling how the resources of your household are used. This work is a heavy one, for you must be careful not to let the good parts go to waste. I divide the salt pork in my own kitchen to keep the pantry full for the week. You have the hands to give out what you have with a sure and honest grace.
The sight of butchering meat or someone else cutting meat in a dream means the work of sharing is being done for more than just yourself. It places your personal gains into the wider circle of the people around you.
When the dream involves cutting red, raw, or fresh meat, the meaning shifts toward the presence of trouble or unkind words. The unprotected state of the substance suggests that the way you divide your life right now may bring about some slander or unrest.
A knife in a dream where you are cutting meat makes the division sharp and final. It acts like a word that cuts through the air and leaves no room for turning back.

Benedita LumeInterpreter interprets your dreams
Well, dear, the old houses never treated a dream as a stranger at the door. A dream was given a chair at the table like a cousin from far away. Most of what it carries is a warm sign about the life already around you, and even a hard one is usually a reminder about something small at home. Rest easy. The house is still standing.
