Dream about cutting a wrist

Cutting a wrist in a dream shows a moment where you are using up the very power you need to handle your daily tasks. This dream tells of a hand that can no longer hold its tools or its place in the world.

The way you handle this dream depends on how the wound behaves. If the cut is deep and the life is leaving the limb, you are seeing how the spirit can be poured out until nothing is left. This is a heavy thing to carry, as it feels like the foundation of your ability to act is being worn thin. I have seen my own hands go heavy and useless when I gave my heart to things that did not feed it, dear. You possess the capacity to recognize where your energy is leaking. There is a way to mend what is frayed and find your footing again.

A person slitting their wrist in a dream shows you a strength being poured away. This makes the dream a warning about watching others exhaust themselves or seeing the depletion of vitality as something that happens outside of your own control.

The act of someone cutting their wrist changes the focus from a personal loss to an observation of how strength is being surrendered. It shows that the drain on one’s capacity is a visible, striking event that demands your attention.
