Benedita LumeCleaning a belly button shows how you look after the roots of your life and the ways you keep yourself fed. This dream shows a desire to clear away the old to make room for what feeds you now. You are looking at the center of your being to ensure that your connection to your lineage and your daily bread remains clear and bright.
The work you do in this dream is like clearing the hearth so that a fire might catch. When you address this part of yourself, you are smoothing the path for your own survival. You see how much has piled up at the heart of your life, a heaviness born of your own blood. I often find myself brushing the soot from my own doorstep to see the way. You have the strength to make your house in order, dear. The way is being made ready for you.
Seeing a dirty belly button in a dream shows that the ties to your kin or your bread have grown thick with grime. This neglect makes the work of cleaning more urgent, as the grit has been left to settle too long.

Benedita LumeInterpreter interprets your dreams
Well, dear, the old houses never treated a dream as a stranger at the door. A dream was given a chair at the table like a cousin from far away. Most of what it carries is a warm sign about the life already around you, and even a hard one is usually a reminder about something small at home. Rest easy. The house is still standing.
