Benedita LumeCleaning a basement is a dream about the work of looking after what lies beneath your feet. This kind of dream shows a movement toward the very things that support your life, even the parts you have forgotten or pushed out of sight. When you tend to these low places, you are tending to the foundations of your own character.
The act of clearing away the old dust and debris is like sweeping a floor that has seen many winters. It is a way of making room for something sturdy to stand upon. You are looking at the old things you have tucked away. I often go back to my own old cupboards to see what has been left behind. There is a deep peace in knowing that what is underneath is being made right, dear.

Benedita LumeInterpreter interprets your dreams
Well, dear, the old houses never treated a dream as a stranger at the door. A dream was given a chair at the table like a cousin from far away. Most of what it carries is a warm sign about the life already around you, and even a hard one is usually a reminder about something small at home. Rest easy. The house is still standing.
