Benedita LumeBurying is an act of setting something aside from the light of the everyday. When we move a thing into the earth, we are deciding that its time in our sight has reached an end. This dream speaks to the way we hide our own truths or the parts of our lives that we are no longer ready to carry through the rooms of our house.
The weight of what is put under the ground can press hard against the surface of your days. This movement creates a silence where there used to be a voice, leaving a space that feels heavy with what is no longer spoken. I once buried my own old failures in the garden so I wouldn’t have to see them every morning. Well, you know, there is a certain peace in making a clean break from what weighs on the spirit. The earth holds the secret firmly, and your feet find a steadier path on the grass.

Benedita LumeInterpreter interprets your dreams
Well, dear, the old houses never treated a dream as a stranger at the door. A dream was given a chair at the table like a cousin from far away. Most of what it carries is a warm sign about the life already around you, and even a hard one is usually a reminder about something small at home. Rest easy. The house is still standing.
