Benedita LumeBuilding a roof is how you make a place where those you love can stand safe. This dream shows the way you gather the scattered pieces of your life to create a shelter that keeps the world at bay. A roof is the boundary between the open sky and the warmth of the hearth, and its presence is what allows a person to rest.
You are tending to the very thing that keeps the household whole. When the structure is sound, the spirit finds a place to settle without fear. I mend the cracks in my own walls to keep the wind out. You have the grit to keep a roof over your head through any storm, dear. It is a sturdy, honest thing.
The act of fixing a roof shows that you are mending a tear in your own peace. You are working through a sadness that has begun to soak through your daily life.

Benedita LumeInterpreter interprets your dreams
Well, dear, the old houses never treated a dream as a stranger at the door. A dream was given a chair at the table like a cousin from far away. Most of what it carries is a warm sign about the life already around you, and even a hard one is usually a reminder about something small at home. Rest easy. The house is still standing.
