Benedita LumeBuilding a house is a dream about how you are forming the structure of your own life and identity. This process shows the way you are putting together the various parts of your existence to create something that can hold you.
The work you do in this dream is how you find your footing in the world. This dream shows you are in the middle of the slow, careful work of making a place to call your own.
If the work is left midway, it indicates a lack of settled security in what you are currently making. I have watched a half-built wall stand in the rain, and it is a heavy thing to carry. You possess the capacity to see what needs to be set in place.
The bricks you use in the dream show that you are gathering your strength one piece at a time. This shows that your progress comes through a reliable, step by step effort.
A larger or more expansive scale in a dream of making a home suggests a widening of your own horizons or a desire for more room to breathe. Expanding or extending the space shows that you are looking to grow the reach of your influence and your comforts.
When you are building a house foundation in a dream, you are attending to your most essential roots. This focus on the base of the structure shows you are working to make sure the very heart of your life is firm.
Finishing the work in the dream shows the work is done. It means that the identity you are crafting is reaching its full and settled shape.
Building a house in another country shifts the meaning toward a journey of the spirit. This dream shows that you are finding your footing in a new or unfamiliar way of being.

Benedita LumeInterpreter interprets your dreams
Well, dear, the old houses never treated a dream as a stranger at the door. A dream was given a chair at the table like a cousin from far away. Most of what it carries is a warm sign about the life already around you, and even a hard one is usually a reminder about something small at home. Rest easy. The house is still standing.
