Benedita LumeBeing searched in a dream means that the parts of your life which you usually keep behind closed doors are being brought into the light. This pulls at you because the small, private rooms of your thoughts are suddenly open to a stranger’s eyes. When things are looked for so closely, the hidden layers of your character are the ones that feel the most vulnerable.
Exposure feels like a cold wind moving through a house where the shutters have been left wide. You may feel the weight of being seen in ways you did not intend, where the eyes of others find the things you thought were safely tucked away. I have known the sharp shame of having my own mistakes pulled out into the sun. Yet, there is a relief in this, for it shows that what is true can no longer be kept in the dark. You walk through your days with a clarity that comes from having nothing left to hide.
Benedita LumeInterpreter interprets your dreams
Well, dear, the old houses never treated a dream as a stranger at the door. A dream was given a chair at the table like a cousin from far away. Most of what it carries is a warm sign about the life already around you, and even a hard one is usually a reminder about something small at home. Rest easy. The house is still standing.
