Dream about being on train tracks

Being on train tracks is the sign of a life moving along a path that someone else has already laid. This dream shows a course of life that is fixed and certain, much like the iron rails that do not wander from their purpose. You are moving along a direction that is set by things larger than yourself, and there is a weight to this movement that speaks of a destiny already in motion.

The way these paths work is by keeping you on a single, unbending line. When you find yourself on such a track, you are experiencing the force of a life that refuses to veer or turn aside. This rigidity can feel like a heavy burden because it leaves no room for the sudden changes we often crave. I sometimes walk the lines that were laid before my time, too. But there is a certain peace in seeing the road ahead so clearly, dear. The way moves forward.

Walking on train tracks shows you taking the steps yourself. This movement shows that you are walking the distance yourself, rather than sitting still while the world carries you along.

When you see railroad tracks, the meaning of the dream becomes even more unyielding. This specific detail strengthens the sense of a course that is strictly determined, leaving no space for deviation.
