Benedita LumeBeing hit by waves means a sudden turmoil is arriving to shake the ground you stand on. The way the water moves shows that the trials coming your way will test how you keep your balance.
The water comes in shifts that demand your full attention. You may find that these fluctuating times make it hard to see where the shore ends and the struggle begins. I have known the sting of such unrest when my own world felt too wild to rest. Well, dear, there is a strength in you that knows how to breathe even when the air is thick with salt and spray. You carry a resilience that allows you to face the rising tide.
When a big wave catches you or holds you fast, the dream tells of a struggle that feels impossible to escape. The water acts like a heavy hand that pins you down and leaves you with no room to move.
Surviving a big wave turns the dream into a sign of your own endurance. The fact that you remain after the water has passed shows that the turmoil is something you are capable of outlasting.
Drowning in waves changes the verdict of the dream into a warning of a sorrow so deep it feels as though it might consume you. This state shows that the turmoil has moved beyond a mere shaking of your days and has become a weight that threatens to pull the very breath from your lungs.

Benedita LumeInterpreter interprets your dreams
Well, dear, the old houses never treated a dream as a stranger at the door. A dream was given a chair at the table like a cousin from far away. Most of what it carries is a warm sign about the life already around you, and even a hard one is usually a reminder about something small at home. Rest easy. The house is still standing.
