Benedita LumeAn infestation of rats shows how small deceits are beginning to crowd the corners of your life. When these little dishonesties multiply, they create a noise that is hard to ignore and a restlessness that settles in the bones. You might feel as though the very air of your daily routine is being eaten away by things left unsaid or truths left hidden.
The weight of these many small troubles can make the spirit feel crowded. I find that my own heart grows heavy when I let small lies sit like dust in the corners of a room. Well, you know that even a small leak can eventually soak through the floorboards. The floor beneath your feet remains solid enough to carry you through.
A rat infestation in a house means that the deceit has moved from a passing shadow into the very heart of your domestic stability. When you see rats everywhere or a house full of them, the dream tells us that the trouble is no longer outside, but has become a part of the way you live.
Rats falling from the ceiling turn the sense of security into a sudden threat to your standing. Because the protection above you seems to fail, the deceit arrives from a place where you expected only safety.
The frantic movement of a swarm of rats or rats running around shows how much energy you are spending on things that lead nowhere. This sight makes the deceit feel restless and hollow, as if you are chasing your own tail.

Benedita LumeInterpreter interprets your dreams
Well, dear, the old houses never treated a dream as a stranger at the door. A dream was given a chair at the table like a cousin from far away. Most of what it carries is a warm sign about the life already around you, and even a hard one is usually a reminder about something small at home. Rest easy. The house is still standing.
