Benedita LumeAn envelope in a dream carries news that has traveled to find you. This news is often a matter of the heart or the mind, something held close until it is ready to be known.
The weight of what is hidden can feel heavy, like a secret kept too long in a drawer. You may feel the pull of what is waiting to be discovered. I sometimes find myself looking at the post with a catch in my throat. Well, dear, the truth is already moving toward your door.
The color of the paper tells you how to hold the news. A white envelope is as plain and open as a clean cloth, but a brown one keeps its contents tucked away like a private note in a pocket.
When you are receiving an envelope in a dream, the news has moved from a possibility to a meeting. This act of taking the message into your hands settles the wait.
An envelope with a letter adds the presence of words to the dream. This makes the news more certain, as if the silence of a closed container has been broken by a voice from a distance.

Benedita LumeInterpreter interprets your dreams
Well, dear, the old houses never treated a dream as a stranger at the door. A dream was given a chair at the table like a cousin from far away. Most of what it carries is a warm sign about the life already around you, and even a hard one is usually a reminder about something small at home. Rest easy. The house is still standing.
