Benedita LumeA wristwatch marks the measure of your duties and the span of your days. This dream appears when you are standing before the rhythm of what must be done. It shows how the ticking of the hours settles the way you walk and work.
A fracture in the way things have been held can leave you feeling adrift. You may find that the order you once relied upon has slipped. I have known the way a heart stumbles when the clock stops, dear. You possess the strength to find a new tempo.
Receiving a watch brings a sense that a specific period of your life has been handed to you. This charge feels heavy because it demands that you answer to a new requirement of time.
The way a dream handles time changes when the movement fails. Finding a watch that has ceased to move suggests a moment that was not seized when it arrived. Similarly, a watch breaking shows a sudden split in the continuity of your life, leaving the structure of your days damaged.
Buying a watch shows that you have decided to live by a certain rhythm. You take on the weight of your days and agree to walk within their bounds.
Wearing a watch makes the awareness of your approaching hours very present. You feel the tick against your skin and know that your days are passing.
Fixing a watch shows that you are working to restore the order of your days. You mend the way you move so that your life can keep its pace again.
Losing a watch suggests a sudden gap in how you measure your duties. When the counting stops, you no longer know how much of the day remains.
Stealing a watch points to a desire to take a rhythm or a position that does not belong to you. This action suggests you are trying to live by a measure that was not meant for your hands.
Benedita LumeInterpreter interprets your dreams
Well, dear, the old houses never treated a dream as a stranger at the door. A dream was given a chair at the table like a cousin from far away. Most of what it carries is a warm sign about the life already around you, and even a hard one is usually a reminder about something small at home. Rest easy. The house is still standing.
