Benedita LumeA vulture in a dream marks a time when you feel the eyes of those who wish you ill upon your life. This bird waits for you to stumble so it can swoop down, just as a long shadow creeps across a kitchen floor. It shows that people or troubles are circling, looking to pick at what you have made.
You may feel the weight of an approaching loss or the sharpness of a sudden misfortune. Such a dream shows that the things circling your peace are looking for an opening. I felt a similar coldness once when I saw something wild and hungry near my home. You possess the strength to see these threats before they land, and that sight is your protection.
The scale of the bird makes the threat feel much larger than it truly is. A huge vulture turns a passing worry into a shadow that seems to cover the whole sky, making the sense of impending trouble feel heavy and inescapable.
A black vulture deepens the feeling of a dark season. The darkness of the feathers makes the trouble feel like a heavy shroud that will not lift.
The struggle becomes a direct meeting of wills when you are being attacked by a vulture in a dream. You find your footing and killing a vulture shows you are driving the threat away, but to be brought to the ground by the bird means the trouble has found a way to push you down.

Benedita LumeInterpreter interprets your dreams
Well, dear, the old houses never treated a dream as a stranger at the door. A dream was given a chair at the table like a cousin from far away. Most of what it carries is a warm sign about the life already around you, and even a hard one is usually a reminder about something small at home. Rest easy. The house is still standing.
