Benedita LumeA table is where we come together to share what we have. It is a place of fellowship, where the sitting together of people offers a way to find nourishment.
When you see this in a dream, you are looking at the way you take the world into yourself. The way you receive what is offered shows how you are currently gathering experience. I sit at my table and wait for the meal to be served. You have a capacity for nourishment that is already yours, dear. It is a peace that sits with you like a well-worn chair.
The act of eating at a table shows how you are currently taking the substance of your life inward. Because eating is how we make what we find our own, this dream speaks to your active participation in your own growth.
A glass table brings a quality of transparency to the dream. Because glass is clear, it suggests that your dealings with others are open and frank, leaving no room for shadows between you.
A broken table or building a table speaks to the structural state of your connections. Whether the wood is splitting or being joined together, the dream points to the effort of establishing the foundations of your communal life.
When you are cleaning a table, you are making the surface ready for what is next. Because a tidy place invites the guest, this dream shows you are tending to the ways you receive the world.
To find yourself hiding under a table changes the direction of the dream toward a need for privacy. Because the space beneath the cloth is out of sight, this dream indicates a desire to remain undiscovered and safe from the eyes of others.

Benedita LumeInterpreter interprets your dreams
Well, dear, the old houses never treated a dream as a stranger at the door. A dream was given a chair at the table like a cousin from far away. Most of what it carries is a warm sign about the life already around you, and even a hard one is usually a reminder about something small at home. Rest easy. The house is still standing.
