Benedita LumeA river flooding means your life is being overtaken by a surge of feelings that no longer stay within their banks. This dream shows how a current of power or a direction you have been following has become too vast to manage. When the water breaks the edges of its path, the strength that once guided you starts to overwhelm the ground you stand on.
The force of this dream is an uncontainable surge that moves without regard for what lies in its way. This sudden rise of emotion carries a weight that can pull the stability from your daily life. I have known the way a heavy rain makes the soil turn soft and uncertain. You have the inner depth to meet this movement, dear. I find that even the widest stream eventually finds its bed again.
An overflowing river shows that the capacity of your heart is simply too small for the amount of life you are currently holding. The water simply has nowhere else to go but out.
Escaping a flooding river changes the verdict by showing that you are actively looking for a way to keep your footing amidst the chaos. You are pulling yourself away from the rush to keep your world from being swallowed.

Benedita LumeInterpreter interprets your dreams
Well, dear, the old houses never treated a dream as a stranger at the door. A dream was given a chair at the table like a cousin from far away. Most of what it carries is a warm sign about the life already around you, and even a hard one is usually a reminder about something small at home. Rest easy. The house is still standing.
