Benedita LumeA rattlesnake is a malice that is out in the open, something that does not hide its sharp intent. This kind of dream shows you a hostility that is plain to see, much like a shadow that refuses to stay in the corners. It is a sign of an unkindness that has lost its cover, standing ready to strike.
When you see this in a dream, you are facing a sharpness that can cut through your peace. You may feel the tension of a spiteful presence that waits for your guard to fall. I once had to set a heavy plate aside because of a sudden, bitter word spoken at my table, and I know how that weight lingers. But you possess the clarity to see this threat for exactly what it is. You can walk through your day with your eyes wide, knowing where the danger lies.
The presence of many creatures or a single massive one makes the threat feel heavy and all-encompassing. When you find yourself facing a great number or a giant size, the malice feels like it is closing in on your every move.
A rattlesnake bite is a sharp wound that arrives without warning. The sting is the moment the spiteful intent finally leaves its mark on you.
The act of killing a rattlesnake or finding a dead rattlesnake means that a hostility has been stopped. Whether you strike first or find the creature already gone, the harm is being averted.
To find yourself holding a rattlesnake is a heavy thing. You are grasping the very thing that seeks to harm you, bringing the danger into your own hands.
The colors of the creature change how the threat sits in your heart, dear. A black skin makes the malice feel more absolute and certain, while a white one suggests a quality that is harder to pin down, making the danger feel less certain.
Finding a rattlesnake in a house brings a biting unkindness into the very center of your private life. It is the intrusion of a spiteful energy into the place where you should feel most secure.
A rattlesnake in a closet moves the malice from the open into the dark. It shows that what seemed plain has become a concealed matter, a private trouble waiting in the shadows of your own reserves.

Benedita LumeInterpreter interprets your dreams
Well, dear, the old houses never treated a dream as a stranger at the door. A dream was given a chair at the table like a cousin from far away. Most of what it carries is a warm sign about the life already around you, and even a hard one is usually a reminder about something small at home. Rest easy. The house is still standing.
