Benedita LumeA president in a dream marks the place where the power to decide meets the responsibility of command. This kind of power is often seen in how you handle the rules that govern your own household or the responsibilities that demand your final word.
The dream shows the heavy beams that hold up the roof of your life. You may feel the pull of these forces, or find yourself standing at the center of a decision that others look to you to settle. It is a heavy thing to be the one who decides. I once sat at a table and felt the stillness when everyone looked to me to start the meal.
The dream offers you the chance to see where you hold the reins of your own world. You have the strength to govern your own path.
The act of running for president or being president shows a movement toward taking charge of your own direction. Because these dreams involve the climb toward the seat of power, they suggest an active reaching for the authority you need to manage your affairs.
Seeing a former president or a dead president brings the weight of the past into the present. These dreams show that old ways of ruling or long-standing traditions still exert a pull on your current choices.
The urge of protecting the president shows how you stand guard over the things you hold most precious. You are looking after the very heart of your own order, acting as a shield for the principles that you cannot afford to let fall.
The presence of a governor shifts the focus toward the local laws and the specific rules that keep your immediate world running. It is a more grounded kind of authority than a head of state, dealing with the practical ways you keep your daily life in order.
A dream of meeting the president brings the sense of authority directly to your doorstep. This encounter makes the feeling of being under a larger law or a higher command very personal, as if the very concept of order has come to speak with you.
Benedita LumeInterpreter interprets your dreams
Well, dear, the old houses never treated a dream as a stranger at the door. A dream was given a chair at the table like a cousin from far away. Most of what it carries is a warm sign about the life already around you, and even a hard one is usually a reminder about something small at home. Rest easy. The house is still standing.
