Benedita LumeA mattress is the place where you lay your head to find ease and where two people find their shared comfort. This symbol shows how you settle into your own life and how you allow yourself to be supported.
When you see this in a dream, it points to the way you handle your need for ease. Well, you know how I often look for a corner of the house where the world cannot reach me. If the surface is not right, it shows a season where the foundations of your peace are being tested. You have the capacity to build a soft place for yourself, dear. There is a way to find the stillness you deserve.
You are choosing to make room for better sleep when you are buying a new mattress or seeing a new mattress. This movement shows you are actively reaching for a better way to be at peace. Because you are choosing something fresh, the dream tells you that the rest you seek is already within your reach.
The work of carrying a mattress tells you that your peace is something you must lift and move yourself. It is a weight that rests on your shoulders, and you are doing the hard work of bringing comfort into your life.
You find the meaning settled when you are sleeping on a mattress. This state moves the dream from a search into a realization, as the act of resting confirms that the support is actually there for you.
A dirty mattress makes the dream a harder one to bear. The lack of cleanliness acts like a smudge on a window, obscuring the peace that should be there and making the rest feel heavy or unsettled.

Benedita LumeInterpreter interprets your dreams
Well, dear, the old houses never treated a dream as a stranger at the door. A dream was given a chair at the table like a cousin from far away. Most of what it carries is a warm sign about the life already around you, and even a hard one is usually a reminder about something small at home. Rest easy. The house is still standing.
