Benedita LumeA locust brings the sense of a sudden, hungry emptying of what you have worked to gather. This dream shows how a life can feel stripped of its substance when something moves in quickly to consume the harvest. It is a sign of things being taken or wasted without much warning.
The presence of such a thing in a dream points to a period where resources or efforts seem to vanish. I have watched the wind blow the grain from the threshing floor. There is a weight in this dream because it shows how easily the things we rely on can be scattered. You possess a strength that remains even when the field looks bare. What the locust eats does not belong to your soul.
When you are killing a locust in a dream, the meaning shifts from loss to a way of stopping the hunger. You are standing up to the theft and keeping the damage from spreading. It changes the verdict because the dream is no longer about what is taken, but about the power to halt the waste.

Benedita LumeInterpreter interprets your dreams
Well, dear, the old houses never treated a dream as a stranger at the door. A dream was given a chair at the table like a cousin from far away. Most of what it carries is a warm sign about the life already around you, and even a hard one is usually a reminder about something small at home. Rest easy. The house is still standing.
