Benedita LumeA lady in a dream is a woman who stands tall in her own skin. This figure carries the weight of a position that is respected and held with dignity, much like the steadying hand of a matriarch in a well-kept house.
The way this figure moves or acts shows how you are navigating a transition. When a life phase reaches its natural end, the dream points to a permanent closing of a door. A part of your life is simply done, dear, and there is a dignity in seeing a season through to its end. I, too, have had to walk away from things that have finished their work. You can rest in the knowledge that what is ending has fulfilled its purpose.
The brightness of a white lady makes the figure feel bright and certain, as if the authority she holds is washed clean.
The presence of a black lady shifts the tone of the dream, because the darkness suggests a loss of that very strength and a weakening of the influence the figure once held.
By kissing a lady in a dream, you show that you are welcoming this change or this power with a full and willing heart.
Seeing an old lady dying changes the verdict by showing that this transition is a struggle against the inevitable, as the frailty of age makes the closing of the cycle feel like a resistance to what must pass.
Benedita LumeInterpreter interprets your dreams
Well, dear, the old houses never treated a dream as a stranger at the door. A dream was given a chair at the table like a cousin from far away. Most of what it carries is a warm sign about the life already around you, and even a hard one is usually a reminder about something small at home. Rest easy. The house is still standing.
