Benedita LumeA gunshot brings news that arrives with a sudden force. This dream shows how a single, sharp event can cut through a day that has been going on without much thought. Such a sound acts like a crack in a window, letting in a truth that cannot be unlearned.
The sharpness of the event can leave you feeling unsettled. When a dream carries this weight, it is often because the information it brings is hard to swallow. You find that you possess a strength that meets even the most jarring changes. I have heard a single sentence change the course of my morning, yet I kept my footing. It is a time to listen closely to what the world is telling you, dear.
The suddenness of the news is what stays with you. You are already prepared for the shift.
When you are hearing gunshots, the news is still traveling toward you as a rumor. The distance of the sound means the message is not yet a settled fact, but a shadow of something that is moving in the world.
The dream of dying from a gunshot turns the news into a shock that jolts you into awareness. Since the blow lands so close to home, the message demands that you wake up to a reality you can no longer ignore.

Benedita LumeInterpreter interprets your dreams
Well, dear, the old houses never treated a dream as a stranger at the door. A dream was given a chair at the table like a cousin from far away. Most of what it carries is a warm sign about the life already around you, and even a hard one is usually a reminder about something small at home. Rest easy. The house is still standing.
