Benedita LumeA floor collapsing in a dream means that the very things you rely on to stand upright are yielding to a weight they can no longer carry. The things you lean on to keep your feet even are bowing under the load of all you have gathered.
The foundation of your world feels unstable, as if the ground beneath your feet is no longer a solid thing. You may feel the strain of a life that has become too heavy to manage with the tools you currently hold. I have known the way a house shudders when the beams are tired, dear. There is a way to find new footing once the old ways have given way.
A floor caving in shows that this yielding is not a single moment of ruin but a result of too much being piled upon a single point. The weight has become a constant pressure that the structure can no longer resist.
Falling through the floor in a dream brings the suddenness of a world being pulled away. It is the feeling of having the very ground taken from under you, leaving you without a place to hold.
A floor breaking or a sinking floor describes a shift that is felt before it is seen. This dream shows a slow weakening of what you thought was certain, a gradual descent that signals the end of a stable time.

Benedita LumeInterpreter interprets your dreams
Well, dear, the old houses never treated a dream as a stranger at the door. A dream was given a chair at the table like a cousin from far away. Most of what it carries is a warm sign about the life already around you, and even a hard one is usually a reminder about something small at home. Rest easy. The house is still standing.
