Benedita LumeA coyote in a dream is a cleverness that moves through your life with a hidden motive, never quite showing its true face. This kind of spirit works by slipping past your defenses, acting as a companion who takes more than they give. You might find yourself looking over your shoulder when you realize a neighbor or a friend is playing a game of wits at your expense.
The weight of this dream is the way such a creature can make you feel cornered by a trick. There is a sharpness to this kind of betrayal that leaves the house feeling less secure. I know the bitterness of a person who is not who they say they are, and it is a heavy thing to hold. Yet, you have the clarity to see the shadow for what it is, and that sight is your own strength. You can walk through the day knowing that your eyes are open.
Seeing a baby coyote makes the dream feel more like a small, nagging doubt than a grand threat. The sly nature of the animal is present, but because it is small, the treachery is not yet capable of doing real damage to your peace.
The threat of a coyote attack or the act of killing a coyote changes the dream from a warning into a way to stand your ground. Since this animal lives by its cunning, meeting its strike or ending its presence shows you are no longer being tripped up by a hidden trap.
A black coyote or a white coyote changes the shade of the warning you receive, dear. A dark color deepens the sense of a hidden, shadowy motive, while a white color makes the presence seem more obvious or even strangely bright, though the underlying cleverness of the animal remains the same.

Benedita LumeInterpreter interprets your dreams
Well, dear, the old houses never treated a dream as a stranger at the door. A dream was given a chair at the table like a cousin from far away. Most of what it carries is a warm sign about the life already around you, and even a hard one is usually a reminder about something small at home. Rest easy. The house is still standing.
